The EETTEC consulting arm is linked to all of the North West of England Universities and The University of Bolton is only 5 minutes walk form the EETTEC centre, the other north west universities are between 15 miles and 45 miles away; University of Salford, University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan, University of Huddersfield, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool University, The University of Central Lancashire and the University of Lancaster.

Dr Chris Bamber is visiting research fellow of The University of Salford and Liverpool Hope University, is senior examiner at Liverpool John Moores University and is a graduate from the University of Central Lancashire and Post Graduate from the University of Salford. He is a member and vice chairman of the Institute of Quality Assurance and the IQA six sigma programme manager. Chris publishes his work internationally and travels to conferences world wide.
Professor John Sharp is the chair of Organisational Excellence at Salford University and visiting professor and external examiner to Brunel University, London. John also externally examines a number of graduate and post graduate programmes at other UK and international universities. He is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. An active publisher in the field of maintenance engineering and operational efficiencies, John continues to be at the cutting edge of engineering research. Accordingly, Professor John Sharp is Chairman of IFRIM the International Forum for Research in Maintenance and consequently co-ordinates many maintenance research conferences and seminars.
Both Chris and John have many years experience in managing consulting projects. Likewise have worked on engineering projects worth £Ms from manufacturing improvements, robot technology, engineering analysis, design projects, process management technology consulting, engineering systems design, patent applications, maintenance project management, engineering organisation design and providing advice on recruitment and selection of technicians and engineers.
